Elvis Aaron Presley was an American singer, songwriter, and actor in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Known as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he was highly influential in changing the social and moral values of white American society, but also in creating a new genre of music, which is known as Rock n’ Roll.  Presley is one of the most celebrated and influential musicians, commercially successful in many genres, including pop, blues and gospel, he is one of the best-selling solo artists in the history of recorded music, with estimated record sales of around 600 million units worldwide. Not only that, he also won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at age 36, and has been inducted into multiple music halls of fame. Even president Jimmy Carter remarked on his legacy in 1977: "His music and his personality, fusing the styles of white country and black rhythm and blues, permanently changed the face of American popular culture”. We nominated Elvis Presley because apart from the fact that he marked the beginning of the era of Rock, he also had an important role in the union of colored and white people on the musical basis, in a way promoting civil right movements. His style influenced many great artists like John Lennon and led to the creation of bands like the Beatles, which revolutionized the music industry forever.  He is probably one of the most famous people worldwide and is a known well fact that he is an all American Icon and is often referred to as the “King of Rock n’ Roll”.

                           Elvis Presley 
    1935, January 8, the famous pelvic thruster, was born Mississippi, Tupelo. This American sing-song writer and actor was the king of rock 'n' roll and was considered one of the most influential cultural icons of the 20th-century. Elvis Presley's music career was officially established in 1954. His music was a combination of country and rhythm and blues, and considering that Presley's behavior was extremely provocative and performance style was pretty sexual(which the ladies died for) caused controversial discussion between the masses.Because  After a momentary discontinuation from his music career because of being drafted into the military service, he later compose some of his most awe inspiring Hollywood films and music albums. All his hard work lead to three won Grammys and the Grammy lifetime achieved achievement award at the age of 36. Including several music halls of fame. Inclusion he also is one of the best selling solo artists in history of recorded music which is a proximity around 6 million units worldwide. 
          During Presley childhood grew up attending the Assembly of God. Thus leading him to his passion for music. Despite many teachers throughout his childhood marking him off as average, he was still encouraged to persecute his dreams attending Mississippi Alabama fair and dairy show. After his first performance at the fair, his parents brought him his first guitar. He ironically didn't care for it much and had hoped for a bicycle or  instead. rifle. Presley soon learned how to appreciate it. After days of practice with the guitar one of his classmates took him into a station where he was soon scheduled for an on air performance, which he did well on. 
          In 1948 presley family move to Mempis and enrolled at Lc Humes High school. Soon after presley and two future rockabilly stars form a musical group, which he frequently play around the courts. During his junior year his apearence evolved immensly: he grow out his side burns and use vaseline and rose oil.

Within these few lines presley describes a portion of his childhood he mentions how he was aware of the pain his father was holding on to. During his youth, presley mother abandon the family which was the primary cause of the pain that presleys was going through. In the song it expesses how elvis presley also understands grif his father held and because of that he wanted his dad to relied on him for emotional support rather just on himself. Not only did elvis presley culturally influence the masses with his radical dances moves but he also provided well written messages through his songs thus leaving postive effect on the population. 
    Desite living a glorious life throughout his years as a revolutionary pop star serval years after being featured in the first globaly broadcasted concert via satellit his health was severely damage because of drugs abused and died in 1977 at the age of 42. Elvis presley is one of the most cheerised musicians of the 20th century, with an eslimated of about more than million units world wide.
